We like to focus on the Intelligence portion of BI, not the beautiful-yet-meaningless-dashboard portion of it. Yes we will build reports and visualizations that our nerdy side finds awe inspiring, but we go beyond the final product back to it’s core to. Our goal is to understand the problem you’re truly trying solve so deeply we feel like it’s our own. We ponder it on the unicycle ride home, discuss it with out elementary-aged children, and even dream about it (cold sweat, vicious dreams of undocumented processes and monotone training sessions).
